Hearst Air Service's outpost camps are located in Northern Ontario's unspoiled wilderness and accessible only by float plane. Excellent fishing, hunting, canoeing, photography and wildlife viewing opportunities abound at each site. With only one outpost camp at each of these remote sites, solitude, serenity, privacy and a communion with nature are assured.
	The modern, comfortable, vertical-log, chalet-style cabins at most sites are sure to please everyone - from the experienced outdoorsman to couples and families. Each has two separate bedrooms and can accommodate up to 8 guests comfortably. Chalet-style log cabins are equipped with propane appliances (stoves with ovens, refrigerator, lighting), a wood -burning stove / heater, cut firewood, bunk-style beds with foam mattresses, all cooking & eating utensils, propane BBQ, outhouse. At some hunting sites, tent camps on wooden platforms comfortably accommodate hunters during the fall moose hunt. Hearst is the undisputed "moose capital of Ontario" and Hearst Air can provide adult moose tags.
All outposts include 14-foot aluminum boats, reliable 6 HP Mercury outboards, an unlimited supply of fuel. These boats & motors have proven to be ideal for fishing our remote outpost lakes which teem with walleyes, northern pike and perch - all of which make for excellent eating at shore lunch or back at the cabin.
