Moose Hunting

A succesful moose hunt

The Hearst wilderness area is known as the "moose capital of Ontario"- with access to the heaviest concentrations of moose in the province.
Moose capital of Ontario We offer adult moose tags for Ontario MNR Wildlife Management Units # 18B, 25, 21B, 23 & 24 for rifle hunts & archery hunts in WMU # 17, 21B & 23.

Hunt from a fully-equipped outpost or tent camps, or bring your own gear into wilderness areas where there are no other hunters. We can plan a moose hunt to meet your specific needs, experience & skills.

Hunters / hunting parties will require valid adult moose tags and appropriate hunting licences (available from Hearst Air Service). Firearms registrations should also be carried by hunters at all times.

Export permits for hunters are available at the Hearst Air Service office.
